About Us

Our History

Fluted Partition has been the leading manufacturer of custom fluted trays and inserts for over 50 years, serving a broad range of industries across the U.S. and Canada. Our distinctive curve design ensures a precise fit and full-surface support for delicate components, keeping them securely held and protected during transit.

In 2024, Fluted Partition was acquired by PackEdge Inc., a leading manufacturer of folding cartons and custom packaging solutions based in Hamden, Connecticut. The combined company now offers even greater depth, with services spanning design, printing, die cutting, and fluted tray manufacturing, all backed by the highest level of customer service.

Every product we make is proudly manufactured in Connecticut. Whatever your product, we can engineer a flute to help hold, display, and protect it.

Production Capability

We engineer every fluted tray, insert, and partition around the exact shape, diameter, and fragility of your product. Our flute designs support the entire surface of delicate components, minimizing shock and movement in transit while optimizing packing efficiency for complex or high-value shipments.

Beyond trays and inserts, our custom partitions are built to precise engineering specifications, available in 8 standard styles and fully custom configurations. Since joining PackEdge, we’ve paired that manufacturing expertise with in-house design, printing, and die-cutting, so your project can move from concept to production under one roof.
